CABBAGE KOFTA CURRY

Hi All, Any type of kofta curry tastes amazing, You can make kofta in many vegs and even with non veg. The south Indian version of Kofta is paruppu urundai kuzhambu. Even paruppu urundai kuzhambu can be made with a variety of ingredients. Now coming back to our kofta curry there are variety of kofta curries right starting from cabbage, cauliflower, bottle guard, panner and number of vegs too. I often make this cabbage kofta which is easy to make and also can be made in jiffy. Since my dd and hubby don’t like cabbage much, this way is easy to make them eat cabbage without much struggle. Here come the easy, yet exotic cabbage kofta recipe, COOKING : 40 mins. SERVINGS : 5 members. INGREDIENTS : FOR KOFTA : Cabbage – 2 cups. Onion – 1 big. Besan flour – 1 tblsp. Salt – for taste. NON ALCOHOL X-MAS CAKE

Hi All, I make Christmas cake every year without fail, usually I buy alcohol only to make this x-mas cake, since I mostly use one cup of cake and balance will be wasted. So this year I planned to make it without alcohol. Non alcohol x-mas cake tastes equally delicious like alcohol cake. The orange juice ,zest and lemon zest gives a rich flavor and good moisture to cake.And the relief is the cake will be wonderfully soft too. Since you are soaking in fresh juice don’t soak the nuts for more than one day,soaking one day in refrigerator is enough. This year I made this cake 4 batches for my friends and our family. KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai.One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible.
