Hi, ALAGAR KOVIL DOSA!! This is one old recipe which I saved it for months but somehow missed to post it . Last week I was cleaning my laptop memory and then I noticed I missed to post this yummy, healthy recipe. Actual Alagar kovil dosa will be very thick with instant rice flour added and kept it for fermentation but I used my regular method of soaking and grinding to make this healthy dosa . Also for making dosa they will add more ghee , but I added very less ghee like my normal dosa. Hence we cannot say it as Alagar kovil dosa exactly but I an assure you it is yummy, healthy and aromatic dosa. Here is the recipe for protein rich black urad dal dosa, PREPARATION TIME : 5 hours. COOKING TIME : 5 mins. SERVINGS : 10 members. INGREDIENTS : Raw rice – 3 cups Black whole urad dal – 1 cup Cumin – 1 tsp Pepper – 2 tsp Asafoetida – 1/2 tsp Curry leaves – 1 spring Ginger – 1 tsp Oil / ghee – few tsp for dosa.
