Hi All, Tandoori chicken is one appetizer which we will never say no. I can have tandoori and grill chicken three times a day. The tangy ,spicy, smoked, crisp tandoori is irresistible. More than store brought ones I love to make it in home as we can have it without guilt. I believe in restaurants they add artificial colours and flavours and also not sure about the freshness of chicken so making in home is healthy, very very less oil, fresh. But the baking time takes more than one hour but it is worth the wait and slow cooked tandoori tastes great. I love grill chicken too, but there is a mild difference in marinating and baking method in both grill and tandoori. I have already posted my grill chicken recipe ( recipe link here) . Here is my tandoori chicken recipe for your easy ref, PREPARATION TIME : 8 hours COOKING TIME : 1 hour 30 mins. SERVINGS : 4 members. INGREDIENTS : FOR FIRST MARINATION : Chicken – 1 kg. Turmeric powder – 1 tsp. Chilli powder – 2 tsp.
