CHICKEN SALNA, Hi All, I have already posted a vegetarian salna recipe in my blog ( recipe here), this is another version of it . This recipe adapted from Deepika Deepi’s salna recipe. Here I should say about her, her recipes are very simple, yummy with easily available ingredients. Im not sure whether she has blog or youtube channel but she posts her recipes in a facebook closed group which will be too amazing. This salna recipe is completely dedicated to Deepika and I made only very few changes according to my style. You can make the salna as plain or with chicken or egg or any vegs, for any type of ingredients this recipe goes very well. Laccha Paratha Hi All, Parotta is the name which makes us drolling all the times. There are many versions in making parotta and in any method a little effort and practice is needed to make it perfectly. I make parotta in only this one method and it comes out perfectly. I tried for a couple of times to make the flakes so perfectly. With maida the flavour will be very unique and different but when it comes in wheat the texture and taste is entirely different. But considering the health we can replace maida with wheat and still it tastes awesome . Try to reduce oil as much as possible , still you need one or two tblsp oil when it comes for parotta. A few tricks and tips that helps you to bring our your parotta perfectly. Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai.One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible.
