SPICY CRANBERRY JAM ROLLS AND BALLS

Hi All, When I first tasted cranberries immediately I got this spicy combination in my mind.when we were kids we use to taste tangy fruits with salt and pepper.So I made this spicy,tangy jam with cranberries.I made bread rolls and bread paniyarams with the same. The recipe is as below, INGREDIENTS : Cranberries – 1/4 cup. Onion – 1 no. Oil – 1 tsp. Salt – as required. Chilli powder – 1 tsp. Water – 4 tsp. Bread slices – 2 nos.   NEED CLARIFICATION ABOUT MY MEASUREMENTS ? PLS CLICK TO CLARIFY. METHOD : JAM: Chop onion to small pieces. In a wide kadai heat oil , followed by onion and fry till dark brown. Then add chopped cranberries , chilli powder, salt and fry for a minute.  Then add water and boil till the mixture forms thick jam. Hi, When comes to an contest we all will come to know what our capability is! Contests helps us to think beyond our limits :) So it is always good in participating contests ,winning and not winning is secondary.When Italian concept is announced by ButterBetter I first thought of not participating and at last minute I suddenly thought of this idea and gave a try.The lasagna was so yummy and it served our whole family for breakfast.The recipe of such filling dish is below. SPRING ONION MASAL KUZHAMBU

Hi Everyone, Whenever I buy Spring onion for Gobi Manchurian and Egg dosa , I waste the balance spring onion without knowing what to do with balance onion grass😭 So I planned not to buy from shops and grow in my pot little , but it also gave me good yield and again the same story.Then my mum gave this idea of making gravy with spring onion . Mother's always come up with better ideas when needed !! right ?!😍 I made this kuzhambu few days back and it was really very good in taste and consistency too. The recipe is as below, SERVINGS : 4 members. INGREDIENTS : Spring Onion – 2 cups. Oil – 2 tsp. Mustard – 1/4 tsp. Onion – 1/2 no. Curry leaves – a sprig. Salt – as required. Hi All, Holiday josh started for me..Iam going to home town tomorrow and for whole one week it is going to be family get together :)) ..Cant wait to meet you guys !!!. Today's recipe is CORIANDER CHUTNEY!! My family is full of people with different tastes ! My daughter loves Mint chutney but hubby's favorite is Coriander chutney and my taste is...nothing I will eat everything 😍. I make coriander chutney every week especially for dosa .Coriander chutney and dosa are one of the best pair ,We love it!! The recipe is so simple , just like other green leaves chutney only.You can even skip adding coconut also but we always like coconut touch in everything so I add always. RICE POHA DOSA ( NO URAD DAL)

Hi All, Christmas holiday's started everywhere , though we do not celebrate Christmas here but the I always love the colourful lights , cheering faces during Christmas.This year as my daughter started her school ,now she has got one week Christmas holidays .So we are planning to go to my home town and spend a week lazily there and this one week is going to be holiday for me too.No cooking , no washing , no running behind my daughter ( woowww🙌!!). I will try to post as much recipes as possible within this two days and for next week there wont be any new recipes in my blog😭 Now coming back to today's recipe .Rice flour poha dosa ( no urad dal) I made this dosa to finish the poha packet which for lying there in my pantry for weeks.Somehow we didn't like the taste of this thin poha so thought of using in other better way and finally got this recipe .The dosa was very soft,yummy and very very spongy and absence of urad dal didn't affect the taste in anyway.A must

KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai.One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible. Other than that the fish tastes heaven , spicy, yummy and very easy to cook. I have
