GOBI MANCHURIAN DOSA

Hi All,

DOSA is one of the dish which is popular all over the world. We love any variety of dosa.
I made Gobi Manchurian few days back but too lazy to make chapati to go with manchurian.
But if I serve manchurian to dosa my husband will reject as they are not partners.. Finally my tricky brain gave me this idea to serve as Gobi manchurian dosa :) ..
My neighbour kid was also there with us for dinner ,she just amazed and commented “Aunty you are just awesome”..I was in cloud nine .Immediately I grabbed my camera and clicked pictures.
Sometimes lazy cooking combinations too result in success : ).

The recipe is as below,

INGREDIENTS :
Dosa batter – 2 cups ( recipe link here)
Gobi manchurian - 1 cup ( recipe link here).
Oil – 2 tsps.

PREPARATION :
  1. Heat your iron skillet and spread few drops of oil.
  2. Pour a laddle full of batter over the hot skillet and spread it as thin as possible using laddle.

  3. Dizzle some oil on the edges and take 5 tsp of manchurian and spread it on one half of dosa.
  4. Close the skillet and cook in medium flame for 4 mins.
  5. Open the skillet and fold the dosa from one side and remove from flame.
  6. Serve with your fav side dish.
  7. Pls note the dosa must be served hot ..when cooled it will become soggy.

KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai. One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible. Other than that the fish tastes heaven , spicy, yummy and very easy to cook. I have
