BLACKURAD DOSA (ALAGAR KOVIL SIMILAR)

  Hi, ALAGAR KOVIL DOSA!! This is one old recipe which I saved it for months but somehow missed to post it . Last week I was cleaning my laptop memory and then I noticed I missed to post this yummy, healthy recipe. Actual Alagar kovil dosa will be very thick with instant rice flour added and kept it for fermentation but I used my regular method of soaking and grinding to make this healthy dosa . Also for making dosa they will add more ghee , but I added very less ghee like my normal dosa. Hence we cannot say it as Alagar kovil dosa exactly but I an assure you it is yummy, healthy and aromatic dosa. Here is the recipe for protein rich black urad dal dosa, PREPARATION   TIME : 5 hours. COOKING TIME : 5 mins. SERVINGS : 10 members. If you see my earlier post , you will know how important is dosa batter in my home , without dosa batter Iam struck 😓 So I always make varieties of dosa batter in home and this bottlegourd is one of the healthy dosa which I make often.You can make dosa with few vegetables and I will try to share those recipes too asap. Whenever I go to super markets , I use to stare at this Instant mix section for long time reading the ingredients list in each packet.I always wanted to keep some instant mix in home but in all packets I saw added preservatives so I never buy them. I want to try something on my own and I tried adai mix first as it requires no fermentation.The process is little long but its worth a trying.
