Egg
and Dosa are two favorite dishes in our home..We can eat dosa and egg
all day :)
So
I combine dosa and egg and make many dishes.Here is one simple basic
egg dosa recipe.
There
is no complicated recipe for this egg dosa just break a egg over dosa
, yet it may help beginners.
The
recipe is as below,
SERVINGS
: 2 DOSAS.
INGREDIENTS
:
Dosa
batter – 1cup ( recipe here).
Egg
– 2 nos.
Pepper
powder – 1 tsp.
Oil
– few drops.
METHOD
:
- Heat your iron skillet and spread 2 drops of oil evenly over the hot skillet.
- Pour a laddle full of batter and spread to thin disc using ladle ( spread as thin as possible).
- Crack open a egg over the dosa from little height ( when you pour the egg from little height the egg will spread over the dosa and yellow part will break and spread evenly.)
- Drizzle some drops of oil over the dosa ,sprinkle some pepper powder keep the flame in medium and cover the skillet and boil for 3 more mins.
- When dosa turn to light brown and egg turned little firm , flip the dosa to other side using spatula.
- And boil for 2 more mins.
- Remove from flame and serve hot with your favorite side dish.
