PANNAI KEERAI MASIAL / SPINACH KADAISAL

Hi All, 
Spinach masial or keerai kadaisal is one easy and healthy dish which everyone in our home loves always .
There is not even a single NO to this sidedish in our house, I can eat this masial as it is without rice.
It is super healthy, yet very simple to make with minimum ingredients and it takes only 20 mins to cook.
There are so many variations in making of keerai kadaisal but this version is our favorite.
You can make keerai kadaisal with various spinach but this pannai keerai and thoi keerai are best , they giving amazing flavour to the masial.


Here below is the easy recipe ,

COOKING TIME : 20 mins.
SERVINGS : 5 members.

INGREDIENTS :
Pannai keerai – 5 cups.
Green chillies – 5 (according to spiciness).
Cumin – ½ tsp.
Pearl onions – ½ cup.
Big onion – 1 nos
Salt – for taste.

METHOD :
1) In a kadai add spinach, green chillies, cumin, pearl onions, salt , little water.
2) Boil till spinach cook to soft.
 3) When cooled down, grind along with big onions to very coarse paste.

4) Don’t grind to fine paste, just one or two pulse is enough.
5) Empty to a bowl, add 1 tsp coconut oil , mix and serve.

NOTES :
1) Be generous in adding onions, it gives nice flavour.
2) Dont miss coconut oil at end, it enhances the taste.
3) Since we are not sauteing the masial, it will start spoiling soon , so finish it within 5 or 6 hours.
