I made this idli few days before ,Morning breakfast was always a hurry in my home so idli is easy for everyone to eat and run 😅 , Moreover recently I read in a article that in some research they have proved that Idli is the most healthiest breakfast , So I make idlis regularly. But this time I want to make something different from my regular idlis and I made Thatte Idli and Kanchipuram idli.Both tasted amazing and everyone loved it. Traditional Kanchipuram idli they make in Bamboo stick but here it is not possible so I made in Banana leaf .Idlis that boiled in banana leaf tasted great and also rich in fibers ,If you don't get banana leaf then you can make in normal idli steaming method too. தமிழில் காண : கிளிக்   Hi All, KARNATAKA THATTE IDLI ..I tasted this idli on the day when we reached Bangalore ,As our transporters delayed in delivering our household stuffs so in morning we brought this idlis from nearby restaurant . To make our breakfast simple and light we ordered idlis , but When I opened the parcel I was pretty surprised for a minute thinking hotel gave me something other than idli 😕. Then I realized it is a variety of idli which is very famous in Karnataka , the idlis are not round in shape , they are flat , very very soft and it just melted in mouth . After tasting these idlis I instantly fall in love with this dish 😋😋. From that day I was trying to make perfect thatte idli in my home and today is the day I got time to make it , I got it so perfectly and everyone in my family loved it. CHANNADAL SWEET IDLI

தமிழில் காண : கிளிக்   Hi All, Drafting a recipe after a long time ,This year our summer vacation was really great , we enjoyed in Kerala and also in Pollachi ( Tamil Nadu). Due to mobile network issues I was not able to post any new recipe for past 20 days and only yesterday we returned back to Bangalore. Today Iam posting a recipe which my mum made for us when we were in Pollachi ,She made this Channa Dal sweet idli for evening snack and it was really very yummy , light and perfect for evening snack and yes..it is healthy too. I clicked the pictures in mobile and due to lighting the pictures may not be much clear. The simple ,easy recipe is as below, YIELDS : 20 IDLIS. Hi All, Utilizing leftover food is always a tedious task for me...I bang my head thinking how not to waste the leftover food.I make variety of dishes with leftover idli and one dish which is on top list and very very quick ,easy to make is this PODI IDLI UPMA.This is my husband's favorite so whenever I make idli , I will make few idlis extra and next day I will convert it into podi idli upma. The recipe is so simple and here below is for your ref too, SERVINGS : 1 member. INGREDIENTS : Idli – 3 nos. Channa dal – 1/2 tsp. Urad dal – 1/2 tsp. Curry leaves – few. Salt – a pinch.
