MANGALORE BONDA/ GOLI BAJJI

Hi All, I   saw this bonda in Chef Venkat Bhat’s program few months before , the way he explained was super tempting and I pushed me to try it then and there. It was super hit and I make it once in a while due to maida content. But iam sure it is an awesome snack to try during rainy evenings. The consistency of the perfect vada is based on your handwork, beat the batter using your hands till puffy, the batter must be puffy like air. The simple recipe is as below, Cooking Time : 30 mins. Servings : 5 members. INGREDIENTS : Maida – 250 gms Thick curd – 150 gms Salt – as required Green chillies – 2 or 3 Pepper – 1 tsp Cumin – 1 tsp Curry leaves – few Baking soda – a pinch (optional) Ginger – 1” piece – 1 Asafoetida – 1/8 tsp. Hi All , I made this Donuts for diwali but posting it after so long time, here is the easy , yummy recipe for you, INGREDIENTS : Chocolate cookies (any brand) – 10 Condensed milk – 2 tblsp. Maida – 1/2 cup Powder sugar – 2 tsp. Salt- 1/2 tsp. Milk – 120 ml ( appx). Melted butter – 50 ml. White chocolate – 4 tblsp ( appx) . Oil – for deep frying. Baking powder – 2 tsp Method : Crush the biscuits using motor to little coarse powder. Mix condensed milk to crushed biscuits and mix well. In a bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, powder sugar and mix well. Add butter and mix. Now add milk little by little and knead the dough to form a firm dough. I make this bonda for every weekend.I got this recipe from my mum and in my home town I think almost everyone will make this bonda,but in Chennai and Bangalore whenever I make this bonda everyone asks me the recipe 😊😊. So I thought of sharing the recipe with you all. Here below the recipe for you, INGREDIENTS : Wheat flour – 1 cup. Chilli powder – 1 tsp. Salt – 1/2 tsp ( or as required). Onion – 1 no ( big). Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai.One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)).
