Today will post about chicken pizza recipe which is simple
and east to make , yet it is yummy to eat.
So here comes the recipe,
COOKING TIME : 30 MINS.
SERVINGS : 3 members
INGREDIENTS :
Chicken boneless – 2 cups
Chilli powder – 1 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Chilli chicken masala or garam masala – 1 tsp
Maida – 2 tblsp
Rice flour – 1 tsp.
Capsicum – 1 no
Onion – 1 big
Tomato – 1 big
Mozzarella Cheese – 100 gms ( or as per your taste).
Chedar cheese – 2 tblsp ( optional)
Pizza seasoning – 1 tsp.
Tomato sauce – 2 tblsp .
Pizza base -2 nos ( recipe link here)
Oil – for shallow frying
Chilli flakes – 1 tsp.
METHOD :
1) Marinate
chicken with chilli powder, salt, masala, maida, rice flour and let it sit for
minimum 1 hour.
2) In a
wide pan , heat oil and shallow fry the chicken pieces till golden brown, remove
and drain oil completely.
3) Chop
onion, tomatoes, capsicum to big pieces.
4) Pre
heat oven to 180”C – 10 mins.
5) Spread
tomato sauce generously over the base, spread grated cheese , then arrange
capsicum, onion, tomato, chicken .
6) Spread
cheese again on top and bake in oven for 10 mins.
7) Remove
from oven sprinkle pizza seasoning, slice and enjoy.
NOTES :
1) As the
chicken is already cooked, 10 mins baking is enough to retain the vegs its crunchiness.
But if the cheese is not melted in 10 mins
then you can bake for 5 more mins.
2) Chedar
cheese is optional but it gives wonderful flavour.
3) Chilli
flakes – grind red chilli to coarse powder.
4) Due to
lock down you might not get pizza seasoning , then grind cinnamon and cloves to
powder and use in place for pizza seasoning.
5) There
is a separate recipe for tomato spread, since my tomato sauce is home made , I used
it to save time. This is shortcut. Will share the pizza spread recipe soon.
