BABY CORN FINGERS..

Hi Everyone, Sudden rules in India..500 Rupees and 1000 rupees are no more valid!! Bank holiday , long queue in ATM!! OMG!!! Its like we have money but can't use it :))..Today morning it was so nice that my husband was pleading me for 100 rupee ..woooww...what a wonderful situation : )). Today is Arun's birthday ,so I planned for black forest cake .As he wants to take it to his office colleagues too I baked a bigger cake and after lot of struggle I baked,frosted and packed too.Final mission was successfully accomplished.I will share the recipe in a couple of days. SPICY WHEAT CHIPS ( BAKED AND DEEP FRIED)

Hi All, WHEAT CHIPS!! I always want to bake healthy dishes with oven but we people are addicted to All purpose flour and our taste buds unaccept anything else so I rarely try anything without maida..My husband was persisting me to bake something spicy instead of cake and cookies,so I tried this wheat chips. Inspired by Ms.Deeksha Pathak's WHEAT CRACKERS post in Ovenderful Mom Bakers Community I made this wheat chips..But I altered the recipe according to south Indian taste like our Pakoda. I can surely say this is one of the healthy snack which you can give to your kids without any guilt. As I want it to be very healthy I baked in oven but you can even deep fry in oil ( refer notes). Hi, We all love paniyarams for its size and shape..And it is easy to eat just take a piece ,dip in chutney and eat,Very easy know!! I make KARA PANIYARAM with dosa batter , And wheat paniyaram with leftover dosa batter. You can make wheat paniyaram instead of Wheat dosa with a little twist which will impress your kids and even grown ups too. KARA DOSA / MIXED LENTILS CRISPY DOSA

Hi All, KARA DOSA!! The recipe for karadosa is similar to Adai recipe , the ingredients are same for both adai and karadosa but the fermentation makes the difference in taste and texture.The taste of karadosa is completely different from Adai. We love Karadosa more than adai due to its crispiness and also there will be no raw smell in karadosa due to fermentation. As the post will go longer I have splitted adai and karadosa as two recipes and posted separately. The recipe is as below, INGREDIENTS : Idli rice – 2 cups. Toor dal / Thuvaram parupu – 1/2 cup. ADAI / MIXED LENTILS DOSA

Hi, ADAI / LENTILS DOSA !!! This is one of the healthiest version of dosa and we make it often in our home.But I wont make adai often as we don't like the raw smell of batter and also we cannot make much crispy dosa in adai batter so I will ferment it to make karadosa. Once in a while I will make adai too , they are very healthy and also filling . The recipe is simple  , you can add any lentils of your choice but base recipe is as below, SERV INGS : 15 MEMBERS. Hi Friends, ONION PICKLE...Tomato prices has started up but onion prices are going down.So I started making more dishes with onion . We are already bored of tomato thokku as I made all varieties of tomato thokku and preserved more .So now I stopped making tomato pickles and switched to onions. I made this pickle through OPOS (ONE POT ONE SHOT) technique which is the world's most easiest and delicious way of cooking.I referred the garlic pickle recipe card and changed the recipe as per my taste and cooked.No frequent stirring , no fear of burning ,the entire pickle was ready in 10 mins. Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai.One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton.
