Hi Everyone,
Today is the day of blogging to me ..Right from morning I was typing , drafting , posting J..tomorrow Iam going to my mums home and there due to network problem I cannot post anything so today I will post , post and post !!!
And this recipe is PEANUT CHUTNEY ..This is such a easy peasy chutney that you can make it in minutes.
I will make this chutney when Iam in hurry or too lazy to prepare anything !!
But this chutney is very healthy for kids and also tasty.

Shall we move to the recipe,
INGREDIENTS :
Peanut / Groundnut / Nillakadalai – ½ cup
Tamarind – 1 cm ball
Curry leaves – few
Coriander leaves  - a bunch
Dry red chillies – 1 or 2 no
Salt  - as required.
Water – for grinding.
PREPARATION :
1) In a wide kadai add the groundnuts and fry in low flame till it becomes brown and nice aroma comes,Take a groundnut and rub with your hands if the skin of groundnut peels like paper easily and when you bite a groundnut it must be crunchy, then it is the right consistency to remove from flame. Now switchoff the flame and let it rest till it reaches room temperature.
2) In a blender add fried peanuts , tamarind , salt, curry leaves , coriander leaves , dry red chillies , salt ,3 tsp of water and grind to fine paste.

3) Empty the content in serving bowl and serve for idli , dosa and paniyaram.

NOTES :

1) Sometimes store brought peanuts will be already fried and packet, In that case fry the peanuts for 5 minutes is enough.

2) Don’t add much water while grinding , little water is enough to make thick paste.

3) This chutney goes great with Ragi Dosa!!

4) You can replace red chillies with green chillies too.

KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai. One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible. Other than that the fish tastes heaven , spicy, yummy and very easy to cook. I have
