AMLA JUICE / INDIAN GOOSBERRY JUICE

Iam receiving requests from viewers to post Diet recipes , Though Iam having some recipes in hand Iam not getting  sufficient time to post those recipes .Will try to post all the recipes soon.
This Amla juice recipe I got from my mum , I know Amla is good for health and also for maintaining body weight but I never like to eat as it is , I don’t like the amla taste.  I told my mum about my problem in eating amla and she gave me this idea .Amla juice doesn’t have any specific recipe its just so easy (cut , grind and squeeze that’s all).
The recipe is as below,
INGREDIENTS :
Amla / Indian Gooseberry – 4 nos ( big size)
PREPARATION :
1)Cut Amla into pieces and remove the seeds.
2)In your blender add amla pieces and water and grind for 2 mins.
3)Filter the juice using stainer and add little water again and grind for 2  more mins.
4)Again filter the juice and discard the pulp.
5)Mix sugar or salt and drink immediately. You can dilute the juice by adding water as per your taste.
6)As I prepared as diet food I didn’t add sugar or salt.
7)In case you want to refrigerate you can store for 1 day not more than that as I feel refrigerating for long time changes the taste and freshness of amla.
HAPPY COOKING!!!

KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai. One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible. Other than that the fish tastes heaven , spicy, yummy and very easy to cook. I have
