Moor / Buttermilk ! Already I have posted Panakam recipe which we
make for Chitirai Kani.
Neer
moor is another drink which we make during Chitirai Kani and also to
make such a refreshing drink you don't need a festival.You can make
this buttermilk for the entire summer season and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS
:
Curd
– 1 cup.
Salt
– 1/2 tsp.
Ginger
– 1/2 tsp.
Green
chillies – 2 nos.
Mint
leaves – 1 tsp.
Coriander
leaves – 1 tsp.
Asafoetida
– 1/8 tsp.
TO
SAUTE AND ADD :
Coconut
oil – 1 tsp.
Mustard
– 1/8 tsp.
Curry
leaves – 2 tsp.
METHOD
:
- Using blender beat curd till it becomes watery and forthy.
- Add asafoetida , salt , crushed ginger , chopped mint leaves , chopped coriander leaves , chopped chillies and mix well.
- In a pan heat oil , followed by mustard and curry leaves and saute for a minute.
- Add the sauted ingredients to buttermilk ,mix and serve.
- You can refrigerate the buttermilk mixture for 1 hour or more for the taste to blend well.
- Also
you can refrigerate and serve for a day too.
