CHURO ICECREAM SANDWICH

Hi All,
CHURO ICE CREAM SANDWICHES! Made this awesome snack few days back and I should say it is one of the most easiest snack that I ever made. Though it is so easy to make but it is so yummy, very rich and unique in taste.
Perfect for parties! Simple and yummy churo sandwich wheels recipe is below,

ADAPTED FROM : BUZZFEED
COOKING TIME : 3 hours.
SERVINGS : 20 SPIRALS

INGREDIENTS :
Maida/ All purpose flour- 2 cups
Water- 3 cups
Oil- 1/2 cup
Salt- 1/2 tbsp
Sugar-1 1/2 tbsp
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp.
Oil- for frying.
Ice cream- 1 cup

FOR COATING:
Sugar- 1 cup
Cinnamon- 3 pieces.


METHOD :
  1. Grind coating ingredients to fine powder and keep it aside till use.
  2. Boil water in a wide pot along with salt, sugar, vanilla essence and oil.
  3. When the mixture reaches boiling temperature, add flour, remove from flame and quickly mix with ladle to form lump free mass.
  4. When the mixture forms a soft mass as in picture, keep the mixture aside to rest down to room temperature.
  5. Now in a piping bag, fill the dough and make big spirals in a tray.
  6. Make spirals with entire dough and keep the spirals refrigerated for 2 hours.
  7. Heat oil in a wide kadai and fry each spiral in medium heat till golden brown.
  8. Dip each spiral in sugar cinnamon powder and coat well.
  9. Same way fry the entire spirals and coat with sugar powder.
  10. When done, place a spoon full of ice cream on each spiral, place another spiral on top and serve immediately.
NOTES :
  1. Fried spirals can be stored for 2 days in refrigerator and used.Also fry spirals in medium heat.
  2. After stuffing ice cream try to serve immediately, if not you can refrigerate for 30 mins but not more.
