GARLIC CHUTNEY

Hi,
GARLIC CHUTNEY!! This garlic chutney is definitely a gift for spicy and garlic lovers.We love garlic and onions in any dish so we are addicted to this chutney too.
The cooking time for this chutney and ingredients list is also very little so anyone can try it in jiffy and can prepare the yummy,spicy ,chutney in 10 mins.
Use gingelly oil for better taste , if not you can use coconut oil but there is no other replacement oil.
The yummy ,spicy chutney recipe is as below,

INGREDIENTS :
Big onion – 3 nos.
Red chillies – 5 nos.
Tamarind – 1/2 tsp.
Garlic – 7 pods.
Salt – as required.
Gingelly oil – 3 tsp.


METHOD :
  1. Heat 1 tsp oil in kadai and add chopped onions, red chillies and saute till translucent.
  2. When done remove from heat and let the mixture cooldown , Now grind along with garlic , tamarind ,salt to fine paste ( no need to add water , as onions itself will leave water).
  3. Empty the chutney into a bowl and mix with 2 tsp of oil and serve.
  4. I served the chutney for rice poha dosa , you can serve it with idli , chapatis too.

KADAMBA / KANAVA MASALA /SQUID FISH CURRY

Hi, Sea has lot of creatures in it that we can cook and we were much more unaware of many . Squid fish is one among the yummy species which I was totally unaware even after coming to Chennai.One day in market I saw them and surprised that they are selling octopus ( it looked like that to me :)). Then I surfed in net and found actually they are squid ( kadamba / kanava) and not octopus , My friend Saranya cooked this gravy for us during her visit to our home .I copied the recipe from her and tried next week itself.Though the squid fish looks very weird the taste was so yummy and there is no fish odor in that.It just tasted like mutton. The cleaning part is little tricky but easy, I suggest once you finished cleaning dispose the waste immediately out of your house as the waste from squid fish is very smelly and also it starts leaving water .So dispose the waste of squid as quick as possible. Other than that the fish tastes heaven , spicy, yummy and very easy to cook. I have
