Hi All,
EASY
KULFI!! We can say it as shortcut kulfi . Making kulfi is the most
easiest icecream that you can make in home.So far I have tried
icecream only very few times but I make kulfi every week because of
the healthy ingredients which we add to it ,easy to make and also the rich taste.
If
something is complicated in making kulfi is,you need to boil milk for
long time until it thickens other than that no work in kulfi :)
And
this shortcut kulfi is easiest way of making kulfi , whipping cream
makes the process very easy and in no time you can make this easy
kulfi.

The
recipe is as below,
INGREDIENTS
:
Full
fat milk – 1/2 liters.
Cardamom
– 2 nos.
Powdered
nuts – 2 tablespoon.
Chopped
nuts – 2 tsp.
Sugar
– 2 tablespoon.
Whipped
cream – 2 tablespoon.
Whipping
cream – 1 tablespoon.
METHOD
:
- Boil milk till foams up ,then reduce the heat and boil in low flame till it reduces .It will take about 30 mins or depending upon the milk quality .
- Keep stirring for every few minutes to prevent from bottom burning.
- Ground nuts to fine powder ( I added Badam , pista , cashews ).
- When milk reduced to half ,add powdered nuts,sugar,powdered cardamom and keep boiling.
- Now when milk reduced to 1/4 ,add whipping cream and mix well.
- When milk reaches thick ,creamy consistency , remove from flame.
- And let the milk cool down to reach room temperature .
- When milk completely cools down add whipped cream ,half of chopped nuts and mix well.
- Pour in moulds as you wish and freeze it for 8 hours or till set.
- My kulfis took 24 hours to set.
- Once kulfis set , dip the mould in water for a minute and then unmould the kulfis.Dipping in water helps to unmould easily.
- Sprinkle balance nuts and serve chilled.
- This
is shortcut method of making kulfi , will share the traditional
recipe in couple of days.
