SIMPLE
MUSHROOM GRAVY!! If you are a vegetarian then pls consume mushroom as
much as possible as it contains lot of essential proteins.Though we
are seriously non-vegetarians I cook mushroom once in a week.Whatever we cook
with mushroom it tastes yummy so I always cook it with confidence 👍..
I
make this curry when I have no time to look into my recipe book..It
is so easy and you can make it in 20 mins.The curry goes very well
with tiffens and also rice too.I served it with cauliflower
tortillas(will share the recipe soon) ,you can serve with bread ,
rotis , dosa too.
The
simple curry is as below,
INGREDIENTS
:
Mushroom
– 1 packet ( 200 gms).
Onions
– 1 no ( big).
Curry
leaves – a sprig.
Cumin
/ Zeera – 1/4 tsp.
Mustard
– 1/8 tsp.
Capsicum
– 1 no(optional)
Chilli
powder – 1 tsp.
Coriander
powder – 1 tsp.
Turmeric
powder – 1/4 tsp.
Garam
masala – 1 tsp.
Coriander
leaves – a bunch
Salt
– as required.
Oil
– 1 tsp.
TO
GRIND TO FINE PASTE:
Garlic
– 8 pods.
Ginger
– 1” piece – 2 no.
Onion
– 1/2 no ( big).
Cinnamon
– 1” piece – 1 no.
Cloves
– 4 nos.
Fennel
seeds / sombu – 1/2 tsp.
Cumin
/ Zeera – 1/2 tsp.
Roasted
channa dal/Pottukadalai– 1 tsp.
Poppy
seeds / khus khus – 1/4 tsp.
METHOD
:
- Clean and slit mushroom in two or four pieces according to its size.
- Chop onions and capsicum to small pieces.
